Rated 5 out of 5 by from Switching Tempurpedics after 15 years helped my shoulder We have been happily sleeping on Tempurpedic mattresses for 20+ years. Recently, though, I developed shoulder arthritis, and I was waking up with shoulder pain. We switched our old (still good!) firm Tempurpedic for this softer version. No more shoulder pain! Tempurpedic mattresses have consistently given us our best sleeps. As our bodies change over time, updating the style of mattress we sleep on makes good sense. (Our friends' six-foot, six-inches adult child was delighted to adopt our like-new king-size mattress, and loves it as much as we did. Tempurpedics seemingly 'last forever.')

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable heating from mattress while sleeping This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!!!! I was waking up every day with serious back pain. I would have to lean over the bed and slowly get up to a standing position before starting my day. Throughout the day my lower back would hurt so much. After one night sleep in my tempurpedic adjustable bed I got up right out of bed and throughout the day my back was feeling good. I can walk around all day without back pain. It has been 2 full weeks, and I tell everyone to get this bed. It is AMAZING!!! I wake up every day energized, not tired, and definitely no back pain. It is truly the best purchase I have ever made. I love my bed!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My bones hurt We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "HOT CONCRETE" Like sleeping on "HOT CONCRETE".My entire body is in pain this morning. HOT too. "OMG" and I purchased the soft one. Soft means soft to me. Soft must mean "CONCRETE" to tempurpedic. Cool means cool to me. Cool obviously means "FIRE HOT" to tempurpedic. STUCK WITH THIS EXTREMELY OVER PRICED SLAB OF "HOT CONCRETE " !!!!!!!!!! I would not give it one star but that option isn't provided. This purchase has sickened me!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of Warranty Claims!! We unfortunately had to use our warranty because our mattress was sagging after 4 years. We decided to upgrade to a better mattress. When delivered it felt like a concrete slab! We slept one night & it was miserable, called Tempurpedic the next morning & we were told we could NOT exchange for a different mattress because it was a warranty replacement! SO, apparently Tempurpedic can send out any crappy mattress they want & if it's a warranty replacement the customer has ZERO RECOURSE! Unbelievable that they would treat 15+ years customers like this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always wanted try one Only had it a few weeks and it has big shoes to fill as we switched from a Stearns and Foster hybrid that we loved, but moving up to a king and figured this was our chance to finally try a Tempur. The soft is incredibly firm, I can't imagine anything firmer being comfortable. We both enjoy it and both are able to sleep in positions we never have been able to comfortable in before. I haven't slept on my back for decades, but now find myself waking up on my back. It sleeps cool as well! The ONLY con I can think of is the depth of the mattress. It's not thin, but it's not as thick as many, so the fitted sheets tend to come undone at the corners. Or kids mentioned this problem with theirs, and sure enough, we have the same thing. No regrets we have already recommended to some friends. Happy customers so far.

I do not notice being hot or it retaining heat at all! I would recommend this to anyone with oresurre point problems especially a side sleeper like myself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worst mattress we've owned - no support I'm a 130 lb side sleeper and my partner is a 185 lb side sleeper. The mattress was very firm when it arrived. After sleeping on it about 2 weeks, it softened to the point where we just sunk down into it. No support. Horrible back pain. We gave it 5 weeks total but eventually returned it to the store.

We received this bed as our previous Tempurpedic Contour Elite which was only 2 1/2 years old was defective and after trying the new Pro Adapt soft mattress a few nights we tried to exchange it for a Pro Adapt Medium mattress and were told we could not after we were given the run around. so we got rid of it. Ten nights of very uncomfortable rest was all we could take. We have been exclusively Tempurpedic customers since our first mattress in 2002 and have owned three mattress since but will not purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase of 2020 Our innerspring mattress was 10 years old and we had been waking up with aches, pains and not feeling rested. Mind you, we are in our early 30's. We tried out all the tempur-pedic pro adapt models in store and settled on the king size medium hybrid. The adjustment period was literally a matter of days for us. The medium hybrid provides the perfect amount of support without being too firm for us and I think the transition from innerspring to memory foam was really easy because it's a hybrid. We look forward to going to bed every night and wake up feeling refreshed with no aches and pains. It has really helped improve our alignment as well. Wish we would have bought this sooner. We also bought the ergo base and love spending time in bed reading in zero gravity. Can't recommend this mattress enough! Pricey but well worth it. We have had our mattress almost 4 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with the Mattress and Customer Service I purchased the Tempur-Pedic Model 10737150M mattress from Ashley Furniture in New Rochelle, NY, on June 8, 2024. I received the mattress in the first week of July but was traveling for the summer. Once I started using it, I gradually began experiencing severe back pain. By October, my back was so inflamed that I had to reach out to Ashley Furniture for assistance. To my surprise, I was informed that I had no warranty because I had bought the mattress as an "as-is" floor model. I explained that I didn't know they were selling defective products and that they should stand behind the items they sell, especially when it comes to something as expensive as a Tempur-Pedic mattress. They then told me to contact Tempur-Pedic directly if I believed the mattress was defective. However, despite multiple attempts to get in touch with Tempur-Pedic, I received no response. Now, I wake up in excruciating pain every morning, and I'm also experiencing significant discomfort in the middle of the night. I can only sleep on my back, and even then, the sleep I get is minimal. The mattress feels much too soft for a medium Tempur-Pedic, and I am in constant pain when sitting on it for any period of time. For context, I've had a Tempur-Pedic mattress for over 10 years without any issues, so I know how they should feel. This has been an absolutely horrible experience, and I feel like I've wasted my money. I will never purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress again and strongly advise others to be cautious when considering a purchase. The pain and frustration I've experienced have made this an incredibly disappointing investment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warranty is a Scam I bought a King size Pro Adapt CG FR in late March 2021. I love a firm mattress. We loved our mattress for 3 years. In year 4 the mattress consistency changed dramatically. It is like the mattress became ice cold and hard like steel. I paid around $4000 for this mattress, and was swayed to buy it due to the 10 year warranty. I followed the online process, which was ridiculous. Send pictures. Fill out a very brief form. No phone numbers, no human to talk to. They turned it down because they said my photos could not show a manufacture problem. Really? You mean you cannot see the change in the mattress in a photo? I appealed their decision. They said no again, because they said it was a personal preference change and not a mattress problem. This is not true, and insulting. They offered no reasonable solution to this problem. Do not rely on the warranty. They have a big name, but zero customer service. If you are expecting the mattress to last more then a few years you are going to be very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! Long-term review of 2 mattresses We are a long-term customer of tempur-pedic. We have slept on 2 mattresses over the course of 8 years. Both mattresses lost support and have begun to significantly sag within 2 years. We are not heavy by any means. My husband is 185 lbs. and I am 135 lbs. We use 2 waterproof mattress covers to ensure no sweat gets through, as my husband is a hot sleeper. We have BOTH developed nerve damage in our necks due to the sagging! We have been going to physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to fix this for the last year and a half. Our arms go numb at night with excruciating tingling pain in the elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. I have lost many nights of sleep trying to make this pain go away. My husband the same. After we went out of town and slept on a different bed, we knew the issue was with the mattress. Our first mattress we were able to return with warranty. The second however they won't allow it. The dip isn't large enough, which is completely inaccurate! Customer service is subpar. Quality is less than desirable for the cost of the mattress. I will NEVER purchase a tempur-pedic again. It seems their quality has diminished tremendously over the last 10 years. Don't waste your money.... You'll pay for it double time in health costs due to chronic pain and nerve damage.

It has been the most expensive and uncomfortable bed I have ever purchased. I get more comfort from a bed In a box. Do not waste your money on a temper pedic, mattress or bed frame. I contacted them about my warranty they were no help. I feel that I got a defect mattress because I am well past the breaking in period. If I could have gave zero stars I would have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable bed with pros and cons [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself a combination sleeper, but usually end up sleeping on my side. I knew I wanted a bed that could accommodate all sleeping positions, but be on the softer side. I think this is a perfect choice for people that fall under the same sleep category as me. Pros : Very comfortable, good edge support, great white glove delivery, classic memory foam sinking feel, but easier mobility and bounce due to the hybrid springs. Cons : You never want to leave your bed, probably a bit pricey, my mattress had a pretty strong off gassing oder that lasted for about 2 days. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and have been getting good solid sleep. My only regret is not spending the extra money for the lux adapt to get that extra softness I was looking for.

The only reason I rated it as less than 5 stars is that it was almost impossible for us to find and copy the serial number so register we could register it. I am 78 years old and had to lift three different corners of the mattress to find the correct label while my wife stuck her head under the mattress and wrote it down. This was very stressful both physically and mentally.

Then I bought one comfortable bed, I currently have breeze rhapsody bought it at 2012-2013 old artvan , well when I bought It I thought it was comfortable but it kinda was firm.. there policy was awful.. so now I know better just go to temperpedic store.. not the quote official dealers.. Now I can't wait for my bed to get here, I have been having shoulder pain, and the new bed will be so much better.. I recently bought sleep number bed in October, and I am returning them they will be picked up next week.. so uncomfortable.. forever now a tempurpedic girl

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonder mattress We went into the store to buy a box spring for our son and walked out with box, mattress for him and new mattress for us. After having left lower back pain for years, after sleeping on our new mattress for about 6 weeks now my back pain has about 85% resolved. It was recommended to turn mattress frequently at first, once a month, so that it would get evenly adjusted with the weight differences. Our new mattress has been a lifesaver and I wish I had replaced my old one much sooner. We are loving it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase ever made Purchased midium Matress ProadaptMD-king with base on August 18, 2021 and after 30 days it was not comfortable and the only other option they gave us was to exchange it for the Firm one and pay the difference. We had paid so much already and we hoped the firm one was going to be better but no way, it feels like sleeping on concrete so firm that it does not even conform to the adjustable base when raised and on top of that it's way too hot even with the cooling protector they sold us. It's so hot that my husband and I are starting to experience kidney pain on one side and my back pain has worsened, If I sleep in my side I feel like my ribcage gets compressed and can't find a good position at all. Paid so much for it trying to find a solution to my back pain. Have contacted Tempurpedic and pretty much indicated they can't do anything about it we stuck with this bed because we purchased through a retailer and they won't do anything about it either. We much rather sleep on our couch now. What a waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive to buy- do your homework Not an easy process to file a mattress claim. You will be denied unless "there are 3/4" (inch) or greater visible indentations". Proper forms and photos were sent. Mattress is 2 years old. It's a lot of trouble to get nothing in return. The standard I paid for is not the standard of service I received . Claim was denied. Make sure you are aware of what you are purchasing and will get for the huge amount of money you will spend for a mattress .
