Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted past the warranty period and then immediately broke Was fine for first couple years but then creaked with movement, as others described. As SOON as the 5year warranty period expired, the welding began to snap. Now unusable. Not a good/lasting product.

We had one slightly bent leg-- the only leg you can see entering our bedroom. The mounting flange was bent before painting at factory. Wish we would have gotten adjustable frame. Still, if you want a flat base for your Purple, good choice. Expensive for a base IMHO.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sturdy platform easy to put together, but legs should be further inside platform so your toes don"t keep bumping them when making the bed, also the legs are 2 inches to long. the 14 inch bedskirt will not cover the legs so if you use a bedskirt as i do you will need to buy the 16 inch drop bedskirt

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would not recommend this foundation The foundation is OK, but it was not super easy to put together and worse, the legs are very high, so my son's bed is way higher than expected. When we complained to corporate, they did not help us at all. The saleswoman at the store in Montgomery Mall helped us measure how high everything would be and it was totally off. The foundation was not in the store. Would not recommend buying this foundation with the mattress we purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and silent. When we got married 13 years ago we bought a queen size purple with what was then the platform base (made of metal). It was great except that it would squeak when you moved in certain ways. This foundation does not have that problem at all. It's been silent, stable, and supportive. I assembled it solo and it went together easily. My only struggle was attaching our existing headboard (which we didn't buy from purple), but was able to get it to work with my wife's help. It's also a lot more attractive that the basic frame we had for the original queen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sturdy but too High The legs are entirely too high. I was not able to get in and out of bed comfortably. I had to buy new legs that are 4 inches high. Makes it easier to get in and out of bed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid foundation This is a solid base. It is also quite tall. I purchased a 13 " mattress. With this base, it was excessively tall. I realize that they make lower platforms. However I wanted to have an under bed storage option . The full height of the bed wound up being about 5" above my night stand. Other than that. It was easy to put together and is a solid base. No squeaks or creaking.
