Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap and worthless. We were told we would need the foundation to support our mattress. We should have stuck with our slat system. The foundation did not sit fully in our frame. The foundation slipped off a side bracket, fell down into the bed, and cracked. At 3AM! TempurPedic will not refund our money, they will only replace the foundation. I have no use for a foundation that doesn't work with my frame so I'm out over $300.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just dont buy. Have an issue with the foundation which Tempurpedic beds need. Turns out "because of the nature of the product" they don't do exchanges on the foundation. What nature? wood? You'll accept a mattress that someone slept on but what take back wood in exchange for the correct size wood, even when the wood is still in the bag unopened? So now I have to rebuy it and spend another 600 because they wont take back wood unopened in the bag. "Amazing" company. Wont buy form them again, and wont recommend them.

The base wasn't delivered to us. Don't be fooled, your (very expensive) will be just seating on the floor. Buyers be aware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY This product is a scam. First of all, the return policy is insane and asinine. Secondly, this product is cheap and not worth the money. Lastly, the advertising on the website is misleading as it looks like it comes with an additional piece which it does not and you have to buy for an additional $100-$300 which at that point you might as well get the next upgrade the power base ease. Extremely disappointed, will probably never buy from Tempur-Pedic again. Buyer beware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Stars if that was an option I have a Tempur-pedic mattress and I love it. But when we purchased a new bed frame which is a platform bed, I found my back was hurting. So upon the reccomendation of your website, I purchased a low-profile mattress platform. Well, the platform is of very poor quality and not supportive in the least. It appears, (without taking off the fabric to be sure) to be made of cardboard on a wood frame! I would have done better to just buy a piece of plywood. And the worst part is the thing is NOISY. It creaks and groans every time my husband moves or sits down on the bed. Definitley a poor product and I am very dissapointed.

I could have purchased more less expensive foundations for the same quality.

It did not fit in the bed frame and I first assumed it was the frame. Took measurements and it was not the bed frame. Then started looking at the base. One side was not straight and smooth/flat. the wood unfinished wood stuck out over an inch and a half on one long side of the base. I had to take the staples ous and saw the wood to get it straight and flat like it should have been. Thoroughly disappointed in this terrible quality and for the amount of money I spent very upset!

We ended up using our old foundation as well and put this Tempurpedic foundation in storage since it would be too costly to return. If your bed was on the floor then perhaps this foundation would work out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Queen 9" foundation is solid and supports mattress I see all these negative reviews and wish they would specify which depth of base they had a problem with. I have the 9" base on a simple metal bed frame and have been as or more satisfied with it than my previous Simmons Beauty Rest box spring. This foundation does not make any noise at all and feels very solid and well made. It has a beige colored edge. It was a snug fit to get a fitted sheet over it - one brand worked and another was a tad small. I need to replace it with a lower base now but am concerned about the 2" being as supportive since it felt more...compressible when I touched it at the store.

The horizontal slats strip away from the flimsy screws and pressboardin no time. We've flipped the foundation, re-screwed, only to find the same problem in weeks. Hard to imagine this design flaw has remained unchanged. Suggests an indifference to customers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Built well BUT I have a CA king with a 5" foundation but I needed a 9" due to a new bed. The new foundation isn't as well finished as the 5" I bought 6 years ago. There's no edge protection and the line on the bottom side was barely hanging on the staples due to the lack of fabric and was ripped at some places.
