Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broke after 3 years and can't be fixed I would have rated this chair 5 stars as we truly love it - looks great and is comfy. But after just 3 years of VERY light usage, the swivel base broke and Ashley states they "do not replace parts on outdoor furniture". And no warranty offered past a year. For such an expensive piece, I am super surprised by the bad quality on the base. Definitely not made of real wood that's for sure. Buyer beware - if it's just to look nice it's a great chair. For long term use, I wish I had bought something else.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak welds cause issues Base welds are very weak. We bought two of these chairs, and the weld on the first one broke in less than 2 years. And the other broke at less than 3. We only use these chairs about 5-6 months out of the year. There are no replacement parts, so you need to buy new chairs. Thankfully, when we originally purchased the set, we added the outdoor furniture warranty and both chairs were fully replaced at no additional cost to us. Love the chairs themselves, but poorly built/weak welds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just after a year, the base snapped off the chair where the metal welds are located. Literally the welds just snapped. I am 120 pounds and sit in the chair a couple hours per week. I had bought the protection plan, and submitted pictures and documentation, and have been waiting on anyone to respond to me for more over a month. I have sent four emails and there is no phone number to call. Not a happy customer here. Now afraid to use the other chairs I purchased.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Favorite chair until it broke This chair is one of the most comfortable outdoor chairs I have ever sat in. We had one chair and the sectional, and absolutely love them. However, like several other reviewers, our swivel chair base broke after only two summers of use. As of right now, the chair sits on the deck without a base, which is extremely less comfortable. Hoping Ashley recognizes the problem and provides a solution. If the base did not break I would rate this chair 5+ stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken welding. Broke after 2 years of use. Like many other reviews noted, the welding on the chair broke after just a few years of having these chairs. Ashley Furniture was no help but the reviews were great to help implement a fix instead of replacing the chair. I would not recommend these to anyone else. While they are pretty and comfy they should last much longer. I'd suggest another retailer that has furniture that holds up longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but… I would give it five stars because it’s nice looking and very comfortable but one problem is the back pillow always sits straight up and down which is uncomfortable. You always have to readjust it when you’re sitting on the chair. In other words the cushion is literally vertical up and down instead of being at a slant so your back is comfortable We bought the sofas also and they do the same thing

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful look.. Poor quality. Bought the whole patio set. They have been on a screened in porch and I love everything BUT these swivel chairs. Like all of the other reviews, my chairs remained on a screened in porch (no weathering affecting) and they broke in less than a year. If you sit in the chair it does not hold into the base. Ridiculous for how much I paid for this patio set. Well over 10,000.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money. It’s garbage. This chair literally broke in less than two months. My husband sat in it three times! Like the other reviews say, the base breaks at all four welds. We’ve purchased plenty of Ashley furniture and this one they won’t help us because it was not purchased from that store. So disappointing. I will not be buying Ashley furniture again.
