Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pillow!!! I have a few chronic illnesses, including one that affects my muscular skeletal system and comes with a lot of pain. I couldn't recommend this pillow more! It was recommended in a hEDS group I am in and I'm so glad I bought it. I love that it's adjustable because my body can change on a dime and being able to modify the pillow along with it is wonderful. It is also the first time in many many years that I'm not waking up with pain in my ear and face on the side I'm sleeping on this pillow made me a very loyal purple customer and now I own two of their seat cushions as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pillow I've ever used. And i've tried MANY. I never leave reviews, but having slept on this pillow for over a year, I figured other people could use my perspective. I went through, without exaggeration 10 pillows in a span of a few months before this one. Memory foam, cotton, premium down. You name it, I tried it. Most were $100-$300. The search ended when I got the DreamLayer. Some too tall, others too low. This pillow came with inserts, so I can slide one into my pillowcase depending upon if i'm back sleeping or side sleeping. The down filled and other memory foam pillows slept SO hot; this pillow is somehow always the perfect temperature, leaning cool. It's supportive but very comfortable. No more random neck or back pain. No more waking up sweating. It took me a couple days to get used to the grid feel on my face through the pillowcase and what felt like slight suction on my ear, but i'm glad I was patient. By day 3, I woke up and told my wife "the search is over, this is THE ONE." I hope they never stop making this pillow, I considered buying a few to stash away for foreseeable future. As for how it's held up, I have noticed essentially no sagging after a year and a half. I'll probably want a new pillow for hygiene purposes, before it actually wears out. I was not in anyway paid to leave this review, just a regular guy who was tired of getting a bad nights sleep on uncomfortable, hot, pillows. If you are on the pillow hunt like I was, and spending countless hours reading reviews or watching video comparisons like I was, you can stop. Buy this pillow, you won't regret it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Purple Pillow is Cooling and Comfortable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to test this pillow out for a weekend trip with my son. We stayed with his church youth group in a cabin. The pillow arrived with two extra inserts that customize the height and thickness of the entire pillow. I ended up not needing the extra inserts as they made the pillow too tall and thick for my liking. There is a slight chemical odor to the pillow but I wanted to use this pillow on the trip immediately and did not set it aside for any length of time for off gassing. I was able to use this pillow the same weekend it arrived and did not have any issues with the smell bothering me. My wife has migraine issue but this was not strong enough to trigger those. The pillow has a nice white stretchy case that is like an envelope style. The case is smooth, cooling, and well designed. I ended up putting a cotton case over that case but it works well as it comes. The pillow has a light purple gel cross hatching layer over it on one side. The other side is a latex foam material with ventilation holes. The pillow provided support for that night and has been a nice pillow for lounging on the couch for naps. My wife has used it behind her back while sitting. It is an additional soft padding option when she uses her laptop and sits on our firm vintage couch, needing more back. We both notice a difference of cooling on the side that has the purple gel cross hatching side. The other side feels warm from our body heat. We like this pillow overall and recommend it for someone looking for a pillow of this type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who really struggles to not just fall asleep but also struggles with staying asleep throughout the night, I can honestly say I have never slept better in my life than I have with this pillow. Since I started sleeping with the purple pillow I no longer wake up with neck pain, and I don't wake up throughout the night. I cannot recommend this enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Neck Support! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DreamLayer Pillow is full of customizable layers that make for a unique experience. I love the materials used on the top layer of gel flex to support my head and neck. They have 2 extra layers that you can add on or remove depending on the support you need. I ended up removing 1 layer because the pillow was too high for my neck - this made the sleeping experience much more enjoyable. I also love the pillow's breathable material and how cool my head feels immediately after lying on it. The pillow does have an initial smell to it but it goes away. The size is good for a queen or full bed but a little small for a king size. It is different from other pillows I've used but because of its layers, I'm able to enjoy a good night's sleep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ACTUALLY lives up to "sleeping on a cloud" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pillow in return for an honest review. Honestly, I'm upset I promised my wife this pillow because it is by far the most comfortable I've ever used. Words don't describe it, the first coming to mind and best suiting is the word 'perfect'. I've used other high-end, expensive pillows in the past but none compared to the Purple DreamLayer pillow. I'm going to have to purchase one for myself and likely my parents. Best pillow ever experienced and I swear to such. Only had it few weeks now so can't attest to its longevity or durability, but I imagine it'll hold up at least as well as the others we own. So my wife has now been using it for a few nights (as I begrudgingly held to my promises of giving it to her) and is thrilled with it. Let's just say she can be a somewhat critical person, but she had nothing bad to say of the DreamLayer pillow lol. I'll conclude with her own words, "[The pillow is] deliciously comfy" and she wanted me to note that it initially smelled a little weird but worth it nonetheless. Buy with this pillow with confidence.
