Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally a good nights rest I first tried the harmony medium and loved the gel grid, but the pillow was too firm. I can honestly say that the freeform was much more comfortable. it took about 4 days to get the fill level dialed into here I wanted it, but now it is perfect. i took about half the total fill out of the pillow to make it the perfectly belly, side sleeper pillow. If you're debating between the harmony and freeform, the freeform is the way to go

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could this really be THE one?! I have spent hundreds, likely close to a thousand, on pillows. Every pillow I've tried in the last few years has left me wanting more. I wake up throughout the night with pain in my neck or head, and generally toss and turn. Usually the pillow ends up on the floor. I have a Purple mattress so I've tried the Purple Harmony in the past (years ago) and didn't like it, and also tried the older version of the Purple Pillow and found it too heavy. Queue the internet searches for "best pillow for side sleepers" and you can be sure that I've tried most of them, plus others, and either returned them or stuck them in the closet for unsuspecting guests. The most recent pillow I bought was from a brand that starts with a T, and that too has been relegated to the closet. I decided to spend the money and try the Purple Freeform on the very off chance it worked for me, knowing I'd very likely be sending it back within the week. Upon opening, it did have a chemical smell but that's dissipated in the couple days it's been out. I took out probably 1/3-1/2 of the original stuffing, which I had expected to do based on other pillows I've had that come with removable stuffing, and also based on some of this pillow's reviews. I appreciated the other pillow for the extra stuffing and my kid has already absconded with that. Much better than a plastic bag. The pillow FEELS nice and seemed like it would be comfy. I appreciate the extra support for the neck bolster and will likely play around with that some more, but left it as is for the first couple nights. And then there was nothing left to do but try it... And I can say that while it's only been two nights, I have not yet found myself laying awake at 1am thinking "what's the return process for this thing?" or throwing it to the floor in a fit of rage, so I feel like that has to count for something! Will I love this pillow forever? I don't know. Do I love it right now? Yes. I think I do. I may add a teensy more stuffing back in but unsure. You can feel the grid but it's not so prominent that it leaves grid-marks on your cheek in the morning (the old ones did), and it's supportive and squishy in a good way. I don't like firm or tall pillows so the adjustability of this one was nice, and it doesn't seem to fall flat. Some reviews mentioned this sleeps hot and while I am a hot sleeper, I'm not noticing anything extra hot about it, even comparing it to the other pillow from the T brand that was supposed to be "cooling". For those struggling to find something good in a pillow, this may be the one for you. Good luck.

So my old pillow setup was a medium foam pillow, followed by a smaller regular pillow and then a thin blanket I would use to conform around my neck/used to cover my eyes. I was happy with my setup, after a long period of trying different things I finally found something that worked. I've always been in love with Purple, even though I'd actually never been able to even try out their technology until about maybe 2 years ago which was when I bought my first seat cushion/lumbar support from Purple and instantly knew why they're held in such high regard. A few months ago I was able to buy my first Purple Pillow, this Freeform Pillow in fact and similar to my last experience with the cushions I instantly fell in love. It actually shocked me just how much I love this pillow, it's basically my memory foam pillow and the regular pillow in one; plus the neck support is basically a replacement for my blanket (minus the eye cover part). It was weird at first getting used to only needing one pillow, but in a good way as my bed looks so much cleaner now! I haven't tried moving the innards (MicroFlex Moon Foam) around yet, but I've been a little curious to add some to the neck support section. I was also a little discouraged when I got my Freeform Pillow and the MicroFlex Moon Foam storage bag was empty, I was kinda hoping they'd provide some extra foam but not the end of the world I just was looking forward to a leg pillow still such a great idea to make the storage bag a pillow! If you're considering to buy anything from Purple, just do it - you will thank yourself later and your body will be happy ❤️ well worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Purple Pillows For Me I've tried other "Best Pillows" and find myself returning to Purple Pillow. I am sold! I love the new cooling foam bits. I love that they have zippers on both the inner (where the foam is) bag as well as the outer bag. Even the neck roll is adjustable to your liking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ONLY pillow that works for me. I struggle with chronic pain including neck issues (disc bulges, spinal stenosis, nerve impingement, occipital neuralgia). I tried almost every type of pillow. Pillows were either too high, hard, and pushing against my head, or they were too low, squash down to nothing, and unsupportive. This is the only pillow that worked for me. It is perfect. It is soft yet supportive. The neck roll chambers keep the fill in place exactly where I need support under my neck. The amount of fill is customizable. The honeycomb outer is soft and plush. Please don't ever change this pillow; it is a godsend!
