Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I'd hoped for I own a Purple mattress and really like it. However, simply putting the Purple "grid" into a seat cushion does not provide a similar experience. I've found that while the cushion does provide some help, it doesn't fully hold up to my 210lbs. Surprisingly, that's not the worst part. The "grid" often gets "kinked" where parts of it stick together, creating painful ridges. Those ridges unstick themselves when you get up or adjust the cushion. I think this could really use a different version for heavier people - maybe the addition of memory foam or additional support. On a positive note, the no-slip cover works really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Godsend My lovely wife was diagnosed with cancer recently. Some has settled in her lower back, causing immense pain while she is seated. It first manifested in the car (weird) and on the dining room chair (solid oak). We have a purple mattress, I have a purple pillow, and we like them an awful lot, so I ordered the royal cushion and the portable cushion. With the royal on it, the dining room chair is now one of the more comfortable places she can sit, and the portable makes even padded chairs more bearable for her. I'm so thankful that Purple was brought to my attention, and that we took a chance and splurged on a mattress, leading to having a resource like this cushion so my wife can still sit with her family for supper. Thank you for your innovation and marketing, and great product

Wow, what great support, and comfort the seat cushion provided to the otherwise uncomfortable seating arrangement. I can see myself taking it out, and using it in my car as well. I am impressed!

But, after sleeping on it overnight .. it was wonderful. I have back problems and I experienced no pain the next morning. I use cushion every day and love it. Pillow is perfect for me.

I will continue to use it on my office chair though. It does tend to slip/move a bit on my particular (coated) chair and needs to be readjusted. All in all its comfortable, but pricey.

The back cushion however is not as supportive due to its size - doesn't stay upright in place (strap ineffective to hold up the weight) and height is less than ideal for full lumbar support.
