The back cushion however is not as supportive due to its size - doesn't stay upright in place (strap ineffective to hold up the weight) and height is less than ideal for full lumbar support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Royal Seat Cushion This cushion is great compared to other seat cushions. However, I do not think it is as well made as the Purple mattress and could be improved. It tends to roll to edge of chair and it a little too "squishy". I can't sit for too long because I sink into it and my hips start to hurt. I wish it was more like the Purple mattress. Maybe layered differently with different padding on top so it wouldn't move as much. I do like the size and the handles on the seat cover and that it is machine washable. I was between a 3-4 stars but given other regular seat cushions it is better but would be awesome if it was the same or similar to the Purple mattress.

I might add I had major back surgery yrs. ago and these cushions are a God send. Back pain is reduced by over 75%. Well worth the money!!

The seat in my car is pretty wide and I need something that would fit that width. Great customer service directed me to a better fit.

By the end of the day, my legs and joints would burn and I was unbelievably tired. The Purple Royal Seat Cushion changed everything. Now I can sit for 11+ hours a day with minimal discomfort. I've got clearer thought processes, a more productive attitude, and better quality of work overall. I wish every chair in my house had one of these cushions. Honestly, I tend to move it around the house wherever I need to sit. I tell everyone I know about Purple. They need to know. This is one of the greatest products I've ever owned. Maybe the greatest hands down. Yeah. The greatest. Great job.
