[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Receiving this Rizzy Home Premium 5' x 8' Recycled Synthetic Rug Pad right after getting the same size area rug, free to review, was perfect timing! Upon opening, my initial thought was it’s so thin how can it make a difference; but it makes a HUGE difference! I don’t even understand the magic in how this 1/8” rug pad makes each step so soft and plush. I put it in an area that has original hardwood with many cracks, that always creeks. Adding this under the rug has pretty much silenced my steps! It keeps the area rug locked in place now. The grip is amazing! It’s also flame retardant so I feel safe having it in my home; and it’s made from recycled materials so it’s also eco friendly. It can also be flipped and used over carpeting. It’s a perfect fit; but can easily be trimmed. I’m really just in awe of how effective it is in adding extra cushion to each step. It’s protecting my floors and adding comfort. It’s also important to note it’s moisture resistant and comes with a 20-YEAR warranty! If you purchase an area rug, you NEED this rug pad! I highly recommend!

Scratchy side up, sticky side down (for hard floor).Easy enough. Using under a flatwoven rug and just next day there aren't any visible creases. Just the right amount of cushion to not look bulky, and it really stays in place.

Works great like any other rug and is thin so it doesn’t lift. Has a slightly funny smell upon opening but doesn’t last long especially under your own rug. Love that it’s recycled!

I like that it doesn't slip around and it adds the right depth of comfort to the area rugs. Then they also can be washed - such a win-win!
