However, I have to say that the Purple bed has exceeded my expectations. The first few nights of sleeping on the new Purple bed were not impressive. It was much firmer than our old Sleep Number, so I tossed and turned a bit trying to adjust to the difference. Right around the end of the first week I went to bed and spelt for about 8 hours, and it felt like I was only in bed for 30 minutes. No middle of the night repositioning, no waking up with tingles in my arm, no tossing and turning - just deep restful sleep. It has been blissful for the both of us ever since. We have the adjustable base, so it took a few days to determine what setting worked for both of us. We got rid of the many pillows and settled on 2 each and it is perfect. Even 5-6 hours of sleep leaves me feeling rested and refreshed. No more shoulder pains or lower back pains. Knowing the importance and health benefits of good sleep, my wife and I both agree that it is well worth the cost, and we are so happy with our purchase. The only small issue we've experienced is that the lighting package under the bed that illuminates when you step out of bed at night may not have been installed properly because only her side of the bed lights up. On my side there is no lighting. Other than that, no issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Customer support was horrible There was a mix up because the sales receipt and shipping manifesto had different quality. My sales receipt showed one quantity of the base while the shipper brought two twin bases. I had to return the initial delivery because of the discrepancy and I didn't want to get stuck with a wrong product. The customer support team absolutely nothing and blamed me and the shipper for returning the product. I called the customer support few times but never received a call back with the status. When I called, they just told me that the shipper would contact me whenever they are ready and it's not Purple's control. Purple said they would call me only after the delivery is complete. What's the point of the call when I already got the delivery??? It was a horrible customer service experience for the amount of product that I paid for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like sleeping on a rock slab! We purchased the medium support as that the demo module felt the best in that firmness. It was over 8 weeks before it arrived and it's like sleeping on a slab of rocks! Horrible. We both have spinal cord injuries and now they are aggravated worse than ever! We haven't had a decent nights sleep since we got it. I called the salesman and he said there was a learning curve for your body to adjust. We are way past that time frame and for almost 10 thousand dollars we are so very mad!!! They will not refund our money because they said it was still "too soon". We wish we had never gone to their store. It's been painful in many ways now!!

The mattress has a low odor out of the vacuum packed bag. It filled up rapidly. I waited the recommended time. The mattress is comfortable.
