It was fine at first, but got worse and worse to the point where I wouldn't sleep on it anymore, I would go sleep in the guest bed (which was our original purple queen). Back on a purple, this mattress is dreamy, even compared to our original purple. Soft yet supportive. No longer waking up with back pain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Woke up without pain Woke up with out lower back pain for the first time in many years. It's great for back sleepers but not so much for the side-sleepers. If you often sleep on your side I would get a more moderate-type of bed rather than a moderate-firm. Otherwise it's a good bed for those experiencing lower back pain.

Now 3 years later, it is already sagging / indenting & I am only 105 pounds. You can not flip this mattress over only rotate it... so if you like to spend over a grand every 3 years, get it.

They were unreliable and the shift in air can be frustrating, even those with a nice thick top. My wife's side kept deflating and it happened to my parents' also. I've been using a Purple seat cushion for a couple of years and it's amazing so I figured we would try their mattress. It did not disappoint. We are very happy with it.

We are on our second set. 1st set was sent to us with question, 2nd set they are making me jump through hoops. We spent thousands of dollars on a split king set and would like another replacement set sent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purple is the only mattress that my back will accept. I have had a purple mattress for more than five years now and love them. I've even purchased a couple for my kids. I tried a Nectar for three weeks and all that I can say was that it hurt. Purple is the only way to go if you have lower back pain and sleep warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Jury is Still Out We have only had the mattress one week. My husband really wanted the thinner mattress 9.5 inches. I was wanting a thicker mattress. The mattress is very comfortable and we are sleeping well. But I have noticed in this short time there are divots on both sides where we sleep. I immediately went out and ordered a mattress topper to hopefully slow this progress down. I was hoping this would be a more durable mattress than a tradition spring mattress.

From the beginning, this mattress provided comfort and relief throughout her pregnancy, making a noticeable difference in her sleep. Now that our baby is here, it's even better for those night feeds-especially with the added support from our platform base. This purchase has made a huge difference in our comfort and sleep quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Side-Sleeper's Dream! The best mattress I've ever owned! I purchased my Purple mattress in California in 2017. Since then I've moved to Switzerland, Australia and now Canada. I love my mattress so much I have shipped it around the world! Even after 7 years it looks like new and it's still extremely comfortable (admittedly it does now have a little sag in my main sleeping spot). I use a stretchy mattress protector and stretchy jersey sheets to make the most of the mattress. It is absolutely fantastic if you are a side sleeper. No more sore hips or numb arms. Overall I highly recommend Purple and I would definitely buy one of their mattresses again.

I have been trying to make a warranty claim but for weeks now they keep telling me they need more pictures and "they will be happy to process my claim". Do yourself a favor and go with a Nectar or Sleep number, they will treat you much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from After 1.5 years, I wouldn't buy it again Before I bought, I looked to see if there was an advised weight range (I'm a 6'2", 260 lb woman). There wasn't, and I slept well on a friend's guest bed, so I bought anyway. I liked it a lot for a while, but after 1.5-ish years, I wish I had a different mattress. I'm pushed to the indent in the middle when I'm laying on it, and that hyperflexes my spine in a side-lying position which is painful. This makes me flip to my back in my sleep where I have a harder time breathing. It's cool when I get into it at the beginning of the night, but it's so hot still when I come back from feeding my baby in the middle of the night. All-in-all 1.5 years later I sleep worse and wake up sorer than I ever have, and that on top of waking with a baby multiple times a night means I really don't get very much quality sleep at all.

I bought my 1st one about 6 years ago so it was time to replace it; naturally my only option was another Purple. They are super comfortable and keep me cool. In the past I had a memory foam mattress and it wasn't nearly as comfortable on my body as the Purple.
