Rated 5 out of 5 by from I didn't expect to love it as much as I do I tested the Tempur-Pedic, Nectar and Casper Snow first and thought I had found "the one"... and then I laid on the Purple RestorePremier Hybrid and immediately realized I had been wrong about everything. I'm a side sleeper and this mattress is magic. It sinks exactly where it should (hips and shoulders) and somehow supports everything else at the same time. When I roll over, it adjusts instantly - no waiting for memory foam to catch up. It feels like the mattress is paying attention to me. Cooling is the real shocker. I stayed cool all night, and I could actually feel that this mattress has engineered cooling, not just "cooling foam" marketing. Huge win. Motion transfer is low, but my husband was so comfortable that he rolled over a little too enthusiastically and accidentally smacked me a few times in his sleep. Honestly, I blame the mattress for making him too relaxed. Worth it. Compared to Nectar and Casper Snow, Purple felt noticeably softer, cooler, and more pressure-relieving. Compared to Tempur-Pedic, Purple was around the same softness but the forgiving grid was the overriding winning aspect. After trying Purple, going back to the others was an instant "nope." If you're a side sleeper, sleep warm, and hate that stuck-in-foam feeling, this mattress is absolutely worth it. I was surprised by how different it feels - in the best way. Would buy again. Would forgive husband again. Five stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warranty fail I bought my premier 4 mattress in 2023 from their Purple Store and they failed to let me know that since there was a discount on the sale that my purchase was not covered for any warranty issues. So the whole 10 year warranty is bogus because there was a discount. I would not recommend to buy anything on sale because it will not be covered under their warranty if it should fail like my mattress did. The edge blew out and caused a dip in the mattress. Now I’m stuck with a bad mattress and they will not honor their 10 yr warranty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not worth the price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first mattress we received was obviously defective. After one night my husband and I were rolling into the center. Although the company was happy to replace it, we had to complete several steps in order to get a replacement very frustrated, considering the fact that we were delivered a defective mattress to begin with, but we had to do all the work to get a new one. We have received the replacement, and I've slept on it for about two weeks now, and I'm not very impressed. We paid A LOT of money for this mattress, but I don't think it was worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver: Purple Restore Premiere Firm Can you be in love with a mattress? The answer is YES! I am a 6' 4", 230 lb. male side sleeper who had a hip replacement. I am also into physical fitness and yoga so I appreciate the purple hyper-elastic polymer GelFlex grid, which regulates my body temperature keeping me cool; and allows my pointy and heavier parts to conform and go deeper into the mattress while keeping my spine in alignment. I find myself going to bed early now and I am dreaming again LOL. This mattress has memory foam topped coils and has such a unique sensation of support when settling into the mattress. It is very responsive to your body movements making it easy to get in and out of bed. I can sit anywhere on this bed and it is comfortable even on the edges. I am sharing this information because the mattress is that good; and I want Purple to succeed in business because I will be ordering another bed in future years. Anyone who has a purple mattress should purchase 4-way stretch jersey knit t-shirt soft bottom sheets as it allows you to stay cool and feel the grid work its magic. I use my cotton top sheets because it feels better and does not cling to your body. LOVE PURPLE!

After careful research, I decided to invest in the Purple Restore Premier Firm-King, and it has been life-changing for me. In about a month with it, I am nearly pain-free and sleeping better than ever. Completely worth the investment and I would buy again and again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful! At first, I thought the Purple mattress was a great purchase. It felt comfortable during the trial period, and I was optimistic that I had found the right mattress. Unfortunately, after the 100-day trial ended, the mattress seemed to lose its support and has only gotten worse over time. I now wake up with more back pain and body aches than I had before. I haven't had a good night's sleep in months, and every morning I feel stiff and uncomfortable. It's been incredibly disappointing, especially considering the cost. I would not recommend this mattress. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck making payments on a mattress that is uncomfortable and has had a negative impact on my sleep and overall comfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NO replaced old one under warranty with a diff. model because old one not made anymore. and the new one is twice as hard and 30 days later its still twice as hard . purple would not refund the 4k spent on old one or give a store credit where we had bought the original one at. your on your own and out of your money if you have problems

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warranty replacement is not a like-for-like I originally chose Purple because I was waking up in the middle of the night with severe shoulder pain as a side sleeper. Unfortunately, the warranty replacement mattress has created the exact problem I came to Purple to solve. We received the replacement Purple RestorePremier on August 10, and I am still within Purple’s 100-night trial. From the first nights on it, it has felt much firmer than expected and has caused terrible shoulder pain that wakes me during the night. As a side sleeper, I am not getting enough pressure relief around my shoulders. My main issue is that this does not feel like a comparable, like-for-like warranty replacement. The RestorePremier has a 3-inch GelFlex Grid, not the 4-inch Grid system of the mattress it replaced. Purple’s own product page identifies the RestorePremier as having a 3-inch GelFlex Grid and describes it as having a soft feel, but that has not been my experience at all.[1] Purple also advertises the RestorePremier for people whose pain wakes them at night and says side and combination sleepers with pressure buildup may benefit from it. In our case, the replacement has had the opposite result: painful, interrupted sleep and worsening shoulder discomfort.[1] I have already emailed the warranty team and am asking Purple to stand behind the trial period and provide a genuinely comparable solution. If you are a side sleeper buying this mattress primarily for shoulder-pressure relief, be careful—this particular replacement has not delivered the softness or cushioning I expected.
