Rated 5 out of 5 by from Queen bed I love my temperpedic mattress. I was getting bad back spasms sleeping on my old mattress and unbelievably I haven't had one since I got this mattress. The only change I would make is to stick with a king instead of a queen (I sleep with pets).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still getting used to it... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have suffered with back/neck problems for over 20 years. This is the 4th mattress I have tried over the past 5 years. So far, it's the most comfortable one I have had, however we haven't even had it for a month... so both me and my husband are still getting used to it. It has helped my lower back problems and my Chiropractor has noticed a difference. However, my neck pain has continued. I had also purchased a Tempur-pedic pillow, which I just started using about a week ago. I am hoping after my body gets used to the new mattress and the new pillow... I will notice more relief from my neck and back pain. As with any mattress... it takes time to adjust!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft and conforming [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is quite comfortable, its soft and easy to fall asleep on, its supportive where it needs to be. And has led to an overall positive experience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too soft for back support While the mattress is comfortable, I am going to trade the soft for a firm because the soft sinks too much under my 240 pound body. I probably sink into the mattress 8 inches and this leaves my hips and pelvis out of alignment with my spine and has resulted in back pain. Hopefully the firm will be more supportive. It's hard to strike a balance because my wife is 120 pounds and the only options are firm or soft. Wish there was a medium.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT Firm Purchased this product because of reviews, Seems to be great quality however mattress is anything but firm. I sink when I sit on this mattress, not back supporting at all as described. The base is GREAT quiet & no problem at all, mattress I can't say the same about.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too stiff Overall quality construction. But for the price, I expected it to feel soft and luxurious like a a hotel bed. But this is not the case. It's very stiff

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as nice as previous Tempurpedic purchased I am not sure what Tempurpedic changed with their product, but not the same :(. So disappointed with the recent purchase. The last mattress as purchased in 2008 and they no longer manufacture that model. New model that Tempurpedic recommended as closest match was Luxe Adapt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3 1/2 stars actually. good bed the bed is comfortable and contours just as they it should. my issue is it sleeps very warm. at first it is cool then as the night goes on the mattress does seem to trap heat. I like cold so i am heat sensitive. otherwise it is a good supportive mattress that even though it is listed as soft is really not a soft as other beds but not rock hard as a firm mattress is. For the price it better last a very long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Tempurpedic, but wish we bought the firm style We absolutely love Tempurpedic - this is our second bed! We do find the soft version is a bit too soft for us and wish we had gotten the firm model. If our room is too warm, the bed feels like pudding and my back hurts. As long as we keep the room cooler, the bed stays firmer. I just bought the sheets they sell and they are fantastic. They have straps to keep the sheets on the bed so when we use the power base they stay on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our mattress! I had issues with the sleep tracker app. But once it was reported to the store, it was immediately resolved; so now, we can see how well we are sleeping. Great company & great custmer service. This mattress has truly changed our way of sleeping. I have not had to nudge my husband when he is snoring, cuz he no longer snotes. However, it has not stopped my dog from snoring (lol).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleeping through the night I keep questioning if this mattress was worth the money. I haven't came up with a answer yet. I will say this, I am sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night. I have not done that in YEARS!! My dog is nine and I had to retrain him not to wake me up during the night to void. So my sleep hours are great. The adjustable base really helps with my sinuses. Now for the things that I'm not pleased with: My shoulder and hip hurts more with this bed than my last and I am not happy with the split mattresses. Also this bed is not good for intimacy. The split is odd and your mate seems to be so far away. I would have kept a queen size bed over a king. Also customer service is amazing!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality product but traps body heat Comfortable quality product sleeps well in winter, no need for electric blanket, but summer use is unbearable... on the fence concerning recommendation because the excessive heat my not bother others

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So so hot!!! I love the comfort of the luxe adapt soft mattress. However, I have not slept a full night in the 30 days I've had it. I wake up hot even with a window ac unit in our bedroom in addition to our central ac. It retains heat badly. I've tried 3 different sets of sheets, including bamboo, and a cooling bed cover. We will be going back to the furniture store tomorrow now that our 30 night trial will be over in order to exchange for something else!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst mattress I've ever bought We've had the mattress almost 6-7 weeks now and regret our purchase. We have not had a good night's rest since it arrived. We were prepared for a break-in period but that came with severe neck, shoulder and back pain. As the bed became softer around week 4 - the pain got increasingly worse. We wake up several times throughout the night because we are overheated and no sleeping position is comfortable. We've bought at least 7 pillows because the reps at the store indicated that was the issue. It is cool to the touch but retains heat under your body which is really uncomfortable. We are both in our late 30's and wake up with almost every bone cracking and aching - feeling and sounding like a 90-year old. I cannot believe this bed is so expensive and highly rated. I called to initiate the return which is a 3-step process: you call the number, someone eventually calls you back and then you have to wait 2 weeks for someone else to call to schedule the pick up the mattress. Words cannot describe how outraged and disappointed we are.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not nearly what was promised in ads The product is okay, noting special though. I doubt it's worth the mush higher price that other mattresses. I have not received the magical back pain relief mention in the adds or other?? reviews. I have not slept through the night either. In fact it is not better than the 10 year old mattress that it replaced. Definitely not worth the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Early Still trying to decide if I like the mattress. My wife says that it was different in the store. I'll give it more time. So far not life changing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I own an original Tempur-Pedic from 2005. After 14 years of lots of use, including a nice bed for the dogs, it has finally had its day. I bought it after I broke my leg and couldn't stand the buttons on my BeautyRest. I chose the mattress because it had no buttons and what the advertising said. I would gladly have spent the rest of my life on it as it got me through a broken femur, a broken arm, a broken foot, and many other illnesses. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, along with IBSD and depression. Until it became impossible to sleep on, the Tempur-Pedic kept me going. I can count on my fingers the number of sleepless nights I've had since adopting my Tempur-Pedic. I now will be purchasing a new system with the adjustable frame. I highly recommend the Tempur-Pedic to everyone. Go lie down on one and find your ideal comfort zone. Sleep tight zzzzzzzzzzz!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tempu-Luxe Adapt-softness WE bought a Tempur-Luxe Adapt soft and I am not happy with it. The one in the store was very soft and conformed to your body. When they delivered ours it was hard like a board.I have problems with pressure points and thought the softness would help. But it is hard and still bothers my pressure points. They tell me the mattress has to break in. Well I don't think it will every be as soft as the one in store.Don't know if they got mattress mixed up with the firm one but something is very different from one in store. Not Happy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Third time's a charm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, this may get long, so bear with me... I had a Cloud Supreme for many years, and it just wasn't working for my back anymore. I got a Pro-Adapt Hybrid Medium to replace it. Tried that for a few weeks, and I realized it was just too firm for me, and I didn't love the springs after not having any for so long. I did a comfort exchange with the retailer, and was going to have a Luxe-Adapt Soft switched with it. Then, I got to thinking, I may as well go all out and get the cooling Luxe-Breeze Soft... so I changed that delivery to the Breeze instead. I tried it for a few weeks, and while some may think it's soft, it truly is more of a medium feel, compared to the Luxe-Adapt. It still was a little too firm for me. I took a trip to a city that had an actual Tempur Pedic store, so I was able to lay on all of the mattresses, all fully broken in. The Luxe-Breeze was never going to get quite as soft as I anticipated or needed, so I came back home and did another exchange to the Luxe-Adapt. This one is very soft, and much better for my hip/back/shoulder problems. I was initially worried it was going to be too soft, but there is still a support layer to it, and it cradles my body better as I sleep on my side. If anyone is debating between the Luxe-Adapt Soft and the Luxe-Breeze Soft, they definitely have very different feels and softness. (They have different Tempur materials) I would still say the Luxe-Breeze is towards the medium side, while the Luxe-Adapt is very soft, cloud like. Thankfully for me, the third time was the charm!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad choice Hate it! Like sleeping on the hard floor or a straight board... Such a bad choice
Date published: 2019-06-18
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly, I had to return the mattress. It was like sleeping in quicksand. You sink into the mattress like a vacuum sucking you in. I couldn't even turn over! I had to grab the headboard to pull myself out of the mattress, just to get out if bed in the morning. They refunded my money, less a $199 "ship back" fee.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from mattress Way to soft, first lay down ok after time settles down when trying to get up i'm climbing up hill. Also sleeps way to warm. Sending back going for breeze medium. Got my fingers crossed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not wonderful I think because the mattress required breaking-in I didn't 'love it from the start'. It's now reasonably comfortable, but not anything I would rave about. I don't find it more comfortable than our previous mattress, which was a good quality pillow-top. We raved about the comfort of that bed, and finally replaced it after twenty years. We expected to improve on that with this mattress, but that is not the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIFE CHANGING I use to wake up at least 20 times a night and because of that starting taking sleep aides to help (but even then I still woke up a number of times). This new mattress changed my life!! Yes, I still wake up a couple times during the night, but that isn't because I am in pain or uncomfortable. Most comfortable bed of my entire life!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A long, supportive night's sleep! Absolutely love our new Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt mattress. After a bit of going back and forth, we decided to go with the soft version instead of the firm, and I am so glad we did! The soft is the perfect blend of support and enveloping comfort. It's like sleeping on a cloud! The cooling outer layer is so nice -- there's nothing more I love than getting into bed every night and having the mattress feel cool. I realize now how awful my old mattress was... I wish I would have made the decision to invest in this mattress sooner. My only small complaint is upon delivery, the mattress had a bit of a smell to it. Like a manufacturing smell, it's hard to describe. Luckily after about a week or two, it has totally dissipated. Very happy with the LuxeAdapt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate it. I spent almost $5000.00 for a mattress that I can't sleep on for more than 2 hours when my back and hips start hurting so bad I have to get up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst night sleep!!!! I was looking for a good firm mattress to help with lower back pain. I went to my local reatleir in hopes of finding that perfect match, The salesperson at the store sold me on the Luxe Frim as the top of the line. Now the fun begins!!! I have not sleep since owning the Luxe I am waking up with not only back pain now I now have Neck, Sholder and leg pain as well. This mattress does not live up to the expations that I was sold that night. I'm working on getting this "Great Mattress" picked up but having trouble with the store but that's a whole nother review. I'm sure temper has a awesome line of mattress but I'm honestly disappointed with the Luxe Firm. I will close with this, if you are thinking about a good mattress for you back you may want to stay away for this model you may want to stick to a good old fashion pillow top.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like a surgical table I am very disappointed in this bed. I have always preferred a firm mattress. I knew at the store this bed was very firm but I expected the material to relax a little - just a little. Well, it didn't and we are close to three months. The adjustable base is fantastic, but it's crushing that we paid almost 7k for this mattress, we were very excited and we both leave The room in the middle of the night to find a guest room bed. We will be utilizing the "comfort guarantee", but are concerned about getting another Tempur-Pedic. This bed replaced a 17 year old Tempur-Pedic that was great. If you don't prefer to sleep on something that feels like a surgical table, skip this bed. Even my cat hates it.
