Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good support but a bit too firm It provides good back support and spinal alignment but is a bit to firm for my side sleeping. Would be curious to know if the soft version would have been a better fit. I thought the mattress would soften up but it hasn't as of yet. I've had it for days now. For reference, I'm 6'2" and weigh 230 lbs with a large frame. My shoulders start to hurt after awhile of sleeping on the mattress. I don't sleep hot in this mattress. I do have an extra thick mattress protector on it which helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat purchase We are Tempur-pedic ambassadors. We tell everyone how we absolutely love our Firm Breeze mattress. We purchased our 1st Breeze 16 yrs ago and in September decided it was time to replace it. The new Breeze is so very nice. My husband is 6'5 weights 300 lbs, whilw, I am 5'4 weighing 140lbs, therefore we need a mattress that provides us both stablity. I do no not roll into him nor do I wake up when he gets in and out of bed. Firm yet oh so comfortable. We sleep like babies, no aches and pains in the morning. The "cooling" is the most improved aspect of the mattress, otherwise it is the same excellent product we know and expect. We are so pleased and would not trade it for any other mattress.

I would recommend this mattress over all its competitors. Nevertheless, I would prefer a slightly cooler mattress. Also, the mattress loses its ability to cool as the night wears on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Mattress Ever - Buy Anything But This We have been loyal TempurPedic customers for decades, believe sleep matters and these are an investment in life quality. First, this mattress does not cool. The gels adapt to your body heat, so if you sleep hot, the gels become hot. Hot. As though you are sleeping on a warming mattress, not cooling. Second, the mattress reverberates with any pressure or motion, so you feel any and all movement. If my husband moves just his hand on the other side of the mattress, I feel the reverberations on my side, and vice versa. If our cat moves, we both feel it. We have a decent night's sleep only when traveling - not in our own bed. We asked others to test the mattress, to see if we were being too sensitive ... everyone responded with surprise that they could feel "everything" and that it felt like a "really cheap" mattress. We contacted customer service several times, and were told first that we needed to adapt to the gels. Which we tried. We contacted them again and were told to submit a written claim. Which we did, and were told we were now outside the 90-day warranty period, so there was nothing they could do. We tried again, and were told our feeling every single movement on the mattress was a personal preference issue and not the mattress' fault. We tried a final time, and were told that because the mattress did not have a visible physical defect such as a sag, TempurPedic would not uphold its promises of motion cancellation, cooling, etc. Do not waste thousands of dollars like we did, and be sleep-deprived as we are. Spend your money (and life) wisely. Best wishes for amazing sleep!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Great I knew within the first week that I wasn't going to like the mattress but kept it for the entire trial period to give it a chance. I still sweat at night and the mattress is way too soft. The soft felt great on the showroom floor but I wake up daily with back aches. I brought the base as well and that doesn't seem to help. I will be returning for a different Tempur-Pedic product. I was just informed my next one will be final sale so fingers crossed I pick right one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A fleeting breeze... It is a decent foam mattress, probably of better quality than some. If you woke up hot after sleeping on your old foam mattress, you will likely wake up feeling just as hot after a night on this mattress. The very temporary coolness when you first lie down may help you fall asleep comfortably, but after 20 minutes or so you may as well be on the old foam mattress that never promised a cooler night's sleep.

The feel of the mattress vs the one I tried out in store are different. The mattress still feels very firm and not as cool as I thought it would be. So I still as trying to give it time to see if breaks in so to speak . Right now I still toss and turn trying to get comfortable. I was hoping that it would be more conforming and cause me less pain.

We purchased a firm expecting it to be a little more firm than what was in the store. What we got - let's just say our wood floor is more comfortable. This bed is absolutely awful and I wake up in pain every single morning. There is no conforming to your body, no cooling (and we even purchased a cooling liner), and my body is going tingly and numb from essentially sleeping on a table. BUYER BEWARE! We now have to wait 60 days to return this god-awful mattress and will be sleeping on the floor instead.

WAY TOO WARM My partner and I purchased this mattress one year ago and I've realized it's the source of a lot of my pains and aches, as I sleep much better in hotels or as a guest at another's home. I find the bed itself to be very comfortable and like the firmness, but it sleeps SO WARM that I wake up every night uncomfortably warm despite the bedroom being 62-65 degrees. I've spent hundreds on top-rated cooling covers, sheets, and pajamas, but it doesn't make a difference. Because it sleeps so warm, the memory foam also contours too much to my body's heat and I wake up out of alignment and feeling aches and pains in my knees and neck/shoulders. It's a shame because this bed is an expensive purchase with a very short trial period, but it doesn't work for us. After just one year, I will have to purchase another bed. If you run hot or sleep warm at all, I would not recommend a tempurpedic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Luxe Breeze way too firm Traded in a Pro-Adapt medium for the Luxe Breeze medium hybrid as I was looking for something that would sleep cooler. The Pro-Adapt medium had a perfect feel to it just felt a little warm. The Luxe Breeze medium hybrid is more firmer and nowhere near as comfortable. I am very disappointed and now stuck with a mattress I am not happy with plus much more expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A huge upgrade for a restful nights sleep [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start out with this bed was an upgrade to a 300ish dollar queen memory foam mattress I got about 6 years ago. While both serve the same purpose its the difference between a Ford Escort and a Rolls Royce in terms of quality. The TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid queen mattress I replaced it feels like absolute premium all the way around in everything to the stitching of the mattress to the sleep quality that was improved from sleeping on it. The TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid queen mattress offered very good support for me without giving the feeling like I am sinking into it. I am a bigger guy at 230 lbs and I never got the feeling in the month that I have tried it so far that it was too soft or too hard, but just the right level of support. This was very important to me because I have been suffering back pain for years and having a mattress that gives the right level of support is a necessity for me being able to sleep, and this mattress provided that with no issue. The next part I wanted to talk about is the Luxebreeze cooling aspect of the mattress which is supposed to be the best cooling Tempur-Pedic has to offer on their beds. I am a very hot sleeper most of the time and I was honestly skeptical of this. I have tried various memory foam toppers and cooling pads in the past, but I could never tell the difference when actually using it. I got the mattress towards the end of September and it was still in the 70s and 80s where I live, so when I first started started sleeping on the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid queen mattress I couldn't tell a difference at first, but after about two weeks I noticed several times I would wake up in the middle of the night and actually feel cold on my back. The cooling technology does work if you have realistic expectations, it won't chill you off like a pad of ice, or have an instant noticeable effect, but sleeping alone in 80 degree temperature, it does a good job of dissipating heat to cool you down throughout the night.

To quickly summarize, I Love it! It is the perfect firmness, is cool to the touch and is like sleeping on a cloud. I no longer wake up sweating in the middle of the night. I don't feel my husband move during the night at all with this mattress. The only negative thing I have to say is that it did have an odd smell for the first week or so but that has gone away. If you are on the fence, buy it, you will not be disappointed.

I'll give it the full 90 suggested day break in period, but if it dies t loosen up quite a bit, I'll be looking for another mattress. My back and shoulders are quite sore. I'm 135 lbs, for reference.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is the WORST, HEAT RETAINING, MOST EXPENSIVE BED I HAVE Bed is cool upon initial touch. Within a few minutes it becomes warm were you are laying. If you are sleeping by yourself, you may have the option to roll to the cool side. However, once that warms up you will have to move back over to the initial side which is still retaining heat from 10 minutes ago. The cooling option is a gimmick. This is the WORST, HEAT RETAINING, MOST EXPENSIVE BED I HAVE EVER PURCHASED.

We previously had a pro adapt mattress which we loved which was 15 years old with sink in issues. Hot sleepers so we selected this. Nothing like the pro adapt and getting help from Tempur-Pedic has been a challenge. We have been in constant communication for over a month to replace it takes them a week to respond or call back which is ridiculous. The worst support ever for such an expensive purchase. No care in anything I have dealt with and unfortunately still no swap out no email for the swap out nothing 2 months after the process started. We will definitely find another mattress after this terrible experience.

I've owned a lot of Tempur-Pedic mattresses and this mattress is the worst I payed too much for this mattress to only wind up using a Tempur-Pedic mattress that is over 10 years old. While I'm making payments on a mattress that is not even 6 months old. I'm very disappointed and hope Tempur-Pedic will do something about this mattress. I have back problems and it has not helped when I'm sleeping Hot and uncomfortable.

This bed is ultra cooling even with your sheets and a mattress protector over it. We purchased the soft version and it gives the perfect amount of support for us as side sleepers. There honestly is nothing we don't like about this bed, we just wish we had made the decision to buy it earlier.
