Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ashley Adirondack Fairly easy to put together if you go that route. Tip. Use a screw gun/battery powered variable speed drill. The back is heavy and awkward and requires 2 people or I used the matching table I built first along with a 4" thick block to hold the back up while I screwed into the arms. You need a certain size square or allen bit for your drill. I got lucky with a square bit I had. Way too much packing material that will go into the land fill. Furniture itself is good quality "poly wood". Hardware is plated. Back and bottom is pre assembled. There are screws/bolts only. No nuts are provided or needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great chairs--once they're assembled. As many others have mentioned, these are a pain to put together. The instructions don't match the parts and many of the holes are not big enough. Connecting the arms to the chair is actually a design flaw as it takes two people 5-10 minutes to drive one screw to secure it. It is frustrating to see the same complaints again and again going back a couple years and Ashley doesn't fix it. Rather than have customer provide a canned apology, how about a partial refund to those who bought this when there are assembly issues? The good news is that once they're assembled. they're great chairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ashley Sundown Treasure White Adirondack chair(s) Having lost my adirondack chairs to the derecho last year, I was looking for something solid, sturdy and yet fashionable. My husband and I put them together and by the 4th, we cut the time to a half an hour. I put them on my patio, and they compliment my husbands grandmother's iron and glass table. As we are in a new neighborhood with no trees, we get plenty of wind on a regular basis. These chairs have held up nicely in both the wind and our recent week of rain. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overall, disappointed. I loved these chairs when I saw them in the store so ordered 4! Once delivered and set up in the sunshine, they look like cheap plastic. The finish that appeared fine in the store, is uneven in the sun. (IT is smooth in places and an orange peel texture in other areas.) Mine do not have the woodgrain appearance as noted in the details. That being said, the chairs are a great shape and comfortable. They appear sturdy and weigh enough I think the will stay put during usual Kansas winds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Very good value. The screws on the arm rest are difficult to place correctly in the front of chair and the back it difficult to attach without a second person to hold them in the correct location, otherwise easy to assemble. Comfortable, at a good height and good sitting angle. Would purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good chairs, some defects The chairs are comfortable, sturdy, and look great once assembled. The assembly itself isn't too hard, but one of the chairs I ordered came with incomplete holes drilled in one of the parts, so it couldn't be put together as it came. I ordered two chairs and the other one was fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy/Reasonably Priced We have 2 other vendors chairs. We found this one to be sturdy and reasonably priced. The only negative is it is definitely a 2 person job on assembly. Matching the bolt holes was challenging. However, we would definitely purchase more in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pain to put together. The material and texture seems to be nice and long lasting but they're a pain in the butt to put together. You definitely need two people and a translator to figure out which parts are which since they're mislabeled in the directions.
