Antioxidant-rich and beautifully deep red, pomegranate juice is now all the rage. This bar-style cocktail makes good use of this delicious ingredient.

Ingredients

• 

1/4 cup (60 mL) pomegranate juice

• 

1/4 cup (60 mL) vodka

• 

1 tsp (5 mL) lime juice

• 

1/2 tsp (2 mL) icing sugar

• 

1 thin slice lime

Preparation

In shaker, combine pomegranate juice, vodka, lime juice and icing sugar with ice. Shake until frosty cold. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with lime.

Makes 1 serving.
