We provide flexible and affordable pickup, shipping and delivery options to best accommodate your schedule and budget. Whether you want to DIY or have it all set up for you, the Homemakers team offers competitive pricing and exceptional customer service to get your items to you in whichever way you choose.

CONTACT-FREE PICKUPS

Our 27-lane pickup department allows you to take your items home the same day you purchase them. Our industry-leading technology and highly trained team provide a contact-free pickup experience that will get your items loaded up shortly after purchasing. In-stock orders placed in our showroom are available for pickup immediately. Online orders are available within a few hours.

1. If you placed an order online, wait to receive your email that your order is ready for pickup. If you purchased in store, you’ll receive a text message shortly after you complete your transaction that your item is pulled and ready for pickup.
2. If you placed your order online, call ahead (515-309-4664) and let us know you’re on your way so we can have your item(s) ready.
3. Drive to the back of our store to the designated 27-lane pickup area. Follow the directions to receive your order number and park in the spot your pickup attendee designates.
4. You do NOT need to come into the store to pick up your item(s). Our team will be out to help you in our designated pickup area!
5. Please make sure to bring your photo ID and receipt with you. Our team will load and tie down your items but if you’d like to use additional reinforcements, please bring those as well. Our team will make sure your order is secured to our quality standards but we are not responsible for damages once your vehicle exits our parking lot.

Our pickup lanes are open during regular store hours:
Monday-Friday: 11am to 8pm
Saturday: 10am to 7pm
Sunday: 11am to 6pm

(IOWA ONLY) FREE STATE-WIDE SHIPPING

We offer free express shipping on orders over $499 throughout the entire state of Iowa. For orders under $499, a flat shipping fee of $39.99 is applied. For in-stock orders, your items will arrive in 1-5 days. If your items are not in stock, we will schedule shipping of all items based on the expected in-stock date.

Your items will arrive in factory packaging and will be placed outside your home by our trained Homemakers Shipping Team. Our team will inspect packaging to ensure there is no visible damage prior to unloading your items.

The evening before your delivery date, you’ll be contacted with a 2-hour timeframe for your furniture shipment arrival. On the day of arrival, you can track your order to pinpoint an exact time of arrival.

• We do require an adult to be present and an authorized signature upon delivery.

• Express shipping excludes pool tables, accessories and clearance items.
• Our express shipping team is prohibited from entering homes, patios and porches, but has been trained to leave items in the safest location outside the home.

(IOWA ONLY) ALL-INCLUSIVE IN-HOME DELIVERY AND MATTRESS REMOVAL

Our $99.99 in-home delivery service is available to all Iowa customers and allows most items to be assembled, delivered, and placed inside your home by our expert furniture installers. With a 95% customer satisfaction rating, you can expect a professional, detailed-oriented team of Homemakers employees to do the work for you.

Your in-home delivery will be scheduled for 1-3 weeks after you place your order on in-stock items, but the exact timeframe may vary depending on your location, overall demand, item availability and other factors.

1. Our team will reach out to you 2-3 days in advance of your delivery to confirm your date and 2-hour time window through text, email or by phone.
2. Your order will be removed from the factory packaging, inspected and assembled by our experienced warehouse team prior to being loaded onto one of our Homemakers delivery trucks.*
3. Prep your space by removing old furniture from your area and creating a clear path for your in-home delivery team.
4. When possible, your delivery driver will give you a call when they are 15 minutes out from your home.
5. Upon arrival, your delivery team will carefully place your items into your home in the space you have designated.

Our in-home delivery team is trained to carefully transport your furniture in the safest way possible, but they are prohibited to remove their shoes or to remove old furniture out of your space. To ensure the process is smooth, please make sure your space is prepared for your new furniture.

In addition, if you’ve purchased a new mattress and box spring and have selected in-home delivery, we will remove your old mattress and box spring that is being replaced for free, for purchases over $499. If your purchase was under that threshold, there is a $10 fee for mattress removal ($5 for box springs).

*Please note, some items still require customer assembly. These items are clearly labeled as “assembly required.”

STANDARD GROUND SHIPPING NATIONWIDE*

For customers outside of Iowa, we offer standard ground shipping with competitive prices. Your shipping rate will be calculated based on shipping address and product weight and you can expect in-stock items to ship from our warehouse in 10-14 days.

• The shipping company will contact you within 7 days of your order leaving our warehouse to schedule your delivery date.
• Items will be delivered in factory packaging and will be placed outside your home or in your opened garage.
• Setup and assembly is not included.
• We do require an authorized signature upon delivery that confirms your order arrived undamaged and releases the delivery carrier from any liability. Please inspect your items carefully before signing the delivery form.
• If you discover any damage, it is crucial that you contact customer service while the delivery driver is still at your home or business.
• You can track your out-of-state shipment here.

*Please note that we are not able to ship to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or to addresses outside the contiguous United States.

OUT-OF-STATE IN-HOME DELIVERY

Our out-of-state in-home delivery provider has paused services until further notice due to COVID-19. Check back for updates.

SLEEP SHOP MATTRESS EXPRESS DELIVERY

Our team works around the clock to deliver a better night's sleep right to your bedroom, as soon as possible. If you purchase a mattress and live in the Des Moines Metro area, you might qualify for our Mattress Express In-Home Delivery for $99.99.

• In stock mattresses only
• Only offered for mattresses, foundations, glideaway bed frames, adjustable bases, pillows, sheets and mattress protectors
• Products must be paid in full or financed to qualify
• Available for delivery within the Des Moines Metro area only

If you made your purchase before 5pm on a weekday, you’ll receive next-day delivery for your mattress order. If your mattress order is placed after 5pm on Friday or over the weekend, your order will be delivered on Monday.

In addition, if you’ve purchased a new mattress and box spring and have selected in-home delivery, we will remove your old mattress and box spring that is being replaced for free, for purchases over $499. If your purchase was under that threshold, there is a $10 fee for mattress removal ($5 for box springs).

Remember, only items from your order that fall into the mattress category outlined above will qualify for expedited in-home delivery. If you had other items included in your order, they will be scheduled for shipping or delivery following our standard processes.

POOL AND GAME TABLE DELIVERY AND PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

In-region pool table packages will be delivered by Pool Table Service of Iowa and will arrive separately from other items in your order. A representative will contact you to set up a delivery window.

After your pool table package has been delivered, the agent will inspect the table to make sure it is level and in good condition. Once the agent has left your home, your table cannot be returned. However, the factory warranty will be valid at this time.

Your purchase includes a pool table, two ball racks, a set of balls, four cues, a bridge and a standard cue rack. The delivery agent will not install anything other than the pool table.

Delivery is included in the cost of the pool table package within a sixty-mile radius of our showroom. Additional charges apply outside of this zone.
