Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great set. Poor cushions. We needed a table with these dimensions since dining areas have gotten smaller and smaller in new homes these days. We really do love everything about it, except the cusions are very poor quality. I am currently looking for a furniture repair shop to recushion the entire set of 8 chairs. Also, the fabric on the chairs is showing a lot of wear after 2 years. Probably will get them reupholstered, too. I expect the repairs to be wuire costly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this set! I searched high and low for a counter height extendable table, they are not easy to find. But so happy I found this set! The color is exactly what I wanted. I like taller tables, I just feel they are more comfortable to sit at, but also needed a table that would extend during the holidays to fit my family. Had to wait a few months for these to arrive, but was worth the wait! The finish on the wood is really nice, the color is a soft brown and has a little distressing on it which will help hide any scratches that may happen in the future. The table pulls out on both sides to add a 1' extension to comfortably seat 8, 10 if you get cozy. The chairs are very solid, well made and heavy, not in a bad way just doesn't feel cheap and chinsy. The material on the cushions is a nice and neutral color, kind of oatmeal. Everything was easy to assemble, my hubby did have to redrill two holes on the bottom of the table to line up, but wasn't a big deal for us. I am an interior designer so I am a tad picky about my home and the finishes in it. I am very pleased with this set, the look, the quality and the fact I will be able to keep this set for a very long time. Very happy with our purchase and highly recommend! Love it!!!

Unfortunately, the chairs can't be pushed completely under the table and the leaf's can't be stored under the table. It also came damaged and had to live with them "fixing" the damage. Three days is really not a good amount of time to determine if the product is the best fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Table for the Price If you're looking for a 1000 lb. table that will last 100 years, this isn't it, but for Hex/Allen Wrench assembly, its a good solid table for the price. It looks great in our kitchen and matches our modern home with a bit of farmhouse appeal. The counter height is perfect for hosting as people can gather around the table, with or without full extension, set their drinks down or sit if they want. The value proposition here is a sound, a good looking piece of furniture at a great price. That said, just know, as it is Hex/Allen construction, you will have to tighten the screws on the table and chairs every so often (its even in the instructions).

However, I wish I had paid more attention and not just let that be why we purchased the set. The spaces between the slates of wood catch every little crumb on the table. I just came from something similar, and I could kick myself—also the piece across the bottom. If you have a high-traffic house or animals, this collects dust, animal hair, dirt you name it. I am constantly cleaning it—one more note. I just noticed that there is starting to become a permanent indent in my husband's chair. We only sit for breakfast and dinner, and we are not ones to linger. My husband is an average build man, and we have had this for less than 6 months.

Quite disappointing but now that it’s together it looks nice. Not as sturdy as we would have liked but with a small center base, it’s not surprising. Looks good overall though.

Two problems for me: cushions on chairs are very hard and bench cross pieces of wood where you rest your foot to stand is very flimsy, not strong enough and I’m afraid it will break very soon. It should have been made thicker.
