Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid construction, but some QC issues. I've assembled a lot of furniture in my time and I like the way this went together. I never cared for that cam-style hardware favored by certain Swedish designers. This comes about 90% pre-assembled so all you're really doing is putting the legs on. Nearly all furniture today contains some components made of MDF (medium-density fiberboard) instead of solid wood, and this has it's share, but it is still good and solid. It has dovetail drawer construction—which you don't see too often at this price point. The assembly instructions don't tell you how to get the drawers out to assemble the unit. There's a built-in stop point on the drawers and I thought there was some kind of tricky release, but all you do is pull it straight back and it will finally yield. I was reluctant to use my Hulk-like brute force because I didn't want to turn green and possibly break everything. Turns out that wasn't necessary. Like most people I bought two of these. One was in perfect condition, the other one had some QC issues. Specifically, two of the triangular corner blocks (braces) for the interior of the drawer cabinet section were disconnected and loose in the drawers. These are not mission essential components, and the unit would function okay without them, but they do add to the overall strength and rigidity of the end table. I'm a handy sort of guy, so rather than let this spoil my afternoon I took the delinquent braces to my manly workshop. I pulled out the protruding staples, sanded off the old glue, drilled some holes for screws (because I'm don't have an electric staple gun) and reassembled them with glue and screws. Now it's good as new. . . or newer I suppose. Because I have a bit of sweat equity in this end table I tend to love it more than the other one. I know this is bad parenting, but I'm just being honest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Size for small space! Easy to assemble. Perfect size for what we needed. Great looking. We assembled it in a different order than on the instructions, specifically, we attached the legs to the drawers first then the top which was easier for a single installer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from End table I was replacing Ashley end tables I have had for several years and I wanted something smaller and with drawers. I admit that I was persuaded with the price reduction. I am not impressed with the quality of the wood, but since I have no kids at home, I decided to keep them. I had someone scheduled to help me assemble them on the Sunday after they were received. The first one assembled with no problem. When we went to assemble the 2nd, there was a package with 6 screws that were not the same size as either of the two sizes in the first package. Since I did not want to call and wait for replacements, we elected to go to the hardware store and were able to find the two sizes we needed. I elected not to complain, but since you asked......In retrospect, I should have kept my original tables, but what is done is done. I probably will do any future shopping in an Ashley store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from junk Bought 2 tables. Both were damaged. I was able to fix one of them, although it's still a little crooked. The other one was obviously dropped somewhere along the line. They were in boxes and I had to assemble them. The top is contact paper on top of wood I guess. They won't last very long i'm sure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the price Shipped very quickly. Had to assemble. The instructions were ok if you've assembled a lot of furniture. Tight fit when assembled and looks very nice. We'll have to wait and see if the faux marble top holds up. Overall a nice piece for the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed in the top I love the look and size but was disappointed in the quality of the top its only a week old and dont think the top will hold up the corners are rough and loose so will probably need to get glass or plastic cut to cover them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from End table The table is beautiful and I really like it. The only complaint that I have is there were like one or two little nicks in it and with it being black you can tell they are there.
