Mid-Century Modern

Mission/Arts & Crafts
Mission and arts & crafts, while two different schools of design, are very close in style. The arts & crafts period began around the end of the 19th century and placed emphasis on clean lines and subtle details. Mission soon followed in the United States at the beginning of the 20th century and incorporated heavier lines and minimal design.
