Homemakers Furniture Hosts Fair Friday Event

Urbandale, IA – Homemakers Furniture is hosting their first Fair Friday Event on July 22 from 11am - 2pm in anticipation of the Iowa State Fair. This event will take place in the Homemakers Furniture parking lot at 10215 Douglas Avenue in Urbandale, IA and is co-hosted alongside the Iowa State Fair, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Iowa PBS.

There will be family-friendly activities including a petting zoo, a balloon twister, coloring stations, tattoos, and other fun games.

“We hope this event gets the community and families excited for the fair this year,” Suzy Emmack, Homemakers’ Director of Advertising and Marketing said.

“Since the Iowa State Fair is such a pinnacle of midwestern attraction, we feel that helping to build anticipation of the fair with this event is the perfect way to start the weeks prior to opening day.”

Homemakers is the exclusive Iowa State Fair Grandstand sponsor for the second consecutive year and will be located at booth #465 in the Varied Industries Building.
